“ Me and my Family were in the Fall River area. We went to McGovern's for lunch. Overall, the experience was excellent. The service was superb and our food was hot and delicious. Also, the interior was nice. In fact, McGovern's was a go-to spot for my family when they lived in nearby Tiverton back in the 1970's. It was long before I was born (I was born and raised in Maine). The Blisses are definitely not strangers to this place. This was my second ever visit personally. The first time I visited here (and it was with family) was in 2010. So overall, I'm glad us Blisses had a great experience on our visit once again in 2023 during our day in Fall River. There was nothing bad about the experience we had. McGovern's gets an A all around! ”
“ Just had my daughters sweet 16 and the whole experience was excellent!! Kathy was very helpful from the 1st moment we met up until the night of the event, even giving me tips on what to do with decorations as this was my 1st time throwing a big party like this. The night of the party was exceptional!! All of the banquet servers were great! They decorated all the tables for us exactly the way we had imagined, and it looked beautiful!! Jose was amazing!! He was so attentive to me and my daughter, making sure that everything was taken care of and that my daughter was happy the entire time. She was soo happy that he took so much time to talk to HER and make sure that things were going the way she wanted and that she was always happy throughout the entire night. I can't say enough good things about that man!! And the food was delicious!! Everyone at the party enjoyed it and had an excellent time! On top of it they were the most affordable place around. I would definitely have another event here if I ever have one again, and would definitely recommend it to anyone, you won't be disappointed!! Thank you soooo much McGoverns for an unforgettable, fantastic night, my lil girl loved every minute of it!!! ”

“ Great food and reasonable prices. Cheaper to eat here than it would be at other places. Great selection off everything from Italian, seafood, steaks and chicken to soups, salads, and sandwiches, and old fashioned comfort foods like the chicken chow mein sandwich, shepherd pie, and clam cakes and chowder. They also do takeout. They make the best fish and chips too. And if you like Italian try out the lasagna or the Italian sampler. Their shepherd pie sells out fast. ”
